2009 GMOD Community Survey

The 2009 GMOD survey focuses on genome and comparative genomics visualization. If you use any of GMOD's visualization components (such as Sybil), or if you have an interest in the topic, then you are strongly encouraged to take the survey before it closes on Friday, September 25. You may also win some GMOD gear.

Sybil is a web-based system for comparative genomics visualizations. It is currently developed by engineers at JCVI and at IGS at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.

More information is available at the sourceforge site which is the primary repository for sybil code and sybil documentation.

Development is accelerating and is focused on usability, development of new views and documentation and integration of new data types (i.e. expression, CGH and repeats).
