2013 GMOD Summer School

Dates: Friday 19th July - Tuesday 23rd July, 2013
Venue: National Evolutionary Synthesis Center (NESCent), Durham, North Carolina, US

The GMOD Summer School is a five day course that covers installation, configuration, and use of a number of GMOD software components, including Chado, GBrowse, GBrowse_syn, JBrowse, MAKER, Tripal, and WebApollo.

The application deadline is June 10th. Applicants will notified of admission status by June 14th. The tuition fee for the course will be $350; travel expenses, hotel, and airfare are the responsibility of the attendees. Admission to the course is generally competitive since we usually get many more applications that we have room for students.

There are some limited funds available to cover the course fees for those from underrepresented minorities (including women on bioinformatics courses). Please contact the GMOD helpdesk if you would like more information.
